Squadron Burgee Heraldry:
The main figure of the burgee is a representative replica of the famous Sanibel Light. Both the original and the replica are shown in black colorings.
There are three chevrons on the burgee. These represent the affinity of Sanibel Island, Captiva Island and the Mainland.
The primary colors of blue and white were selected to exemplify the clearness of the air and the sky in this area. The four signal flags are the letters SCPS for Sanibel-Captiva Power Squadron.
